Prohibition Era Beer & Whiskey Tasting Event returns to Webster Hall (NYC) on Saturday, January 16th by Philip S. Kampe & Maria Reveley

It's that time again.
The traditional, now in its 4th year, 'East Ville des Folies' opens its doors this Saturday, January 16th.

The  prohibition themed Whiskey and Beer Festival takes place at Webster Hall (125 East 11th). Doors open for VIP guests at 1:30pm, followed by General Admission at 2:30pm.
The event ends at 5:30pm.

'East Ville des Folies' celebrates the Prohibition era. Webster Hall, was reportedly once owned by mobster Al Capone. The building opened in 1886 and is known as the 'Jewel of the Village'.  It is the obvious and perfect setting for this event.

Webster Hall will transform its four floors into a whiskey and beer bar, with live music inspired from the 1920's and burlesque acts around the clock. The culture of 1920's at Webster Hall will feature aerialists and flappers from the bygone era. Vintage photographs and a speakeasy bar will occupy the lower floor, while a Gentleman's Lounge will transform the balcony.

The event showcases an incredible variety of beer, as well as a huge selection of special whiskeys.

General Admission is $50  (2:30-5:30pm)
VIP admission is $60   (1:30-5:30pm)

The ticket includes sampling of International Beer and Wine from open to close (or till supplies run out). A Commemorative glass. Live entertainment including Burlesque dancers, a Swing Jazz band, trapeze artists and circus acts. Local food vendors will sell snacks.

Tickets can be purchased at: www.websterhall.com

Looking forward to seeing you at this anticipated event.
